الناشر: دار الفارابي
النوع: ورقي غلاف عادي
نبذة الناشر:On the night of March 26-27 1996, seven trappist monks were kidnapped from their monastery, located at the heart of the Atlas. The fifty-six days of their detention, then the announcement of their death, gave rise to great agitation both in Algeria and abroad. Een though they had thought in ...1993, that their lives might be threatened by the IAG, they never considered leaving Tibhirine, that place where they lived in all tranquility sharing the hopes and the worries of the mountain people.
The question that kept recurring now and the was the following: to leave or to stay?
Encouraged by the Algerian resistance, the Tibhirine monks were not unlike other Christians who refused to leave Algeria at a time when the country was facing a terrorism of exceptional intensity.
Beyond what happened in the Tibhirine monastery, it is in fact the whole presence of the church that is resurfacing, with its colonial past and its current position.
