As a result, the ongoing battles on the front lines have become a significant window into the trends of future wars, which often proliferate during transitional phases of the international system.
Alongside the military battles, there are geo-cultural struggles in which ideological and intellectual systems are clashing, revealing signs of the decline of globalization in its Western liberal form. This liberal model is now being challenged by alternative cultural frameworks, some of which draw from Western civilization itself but advocate for authentic values that have been neglected by Western liberalism. Additionally, there are models emerging from distinctly different cultural backgrounds that seek to carve out a space in the global scene or, at the very least, defend their unique identities, which they perceive as threatened by the eroding Western liberal order.
