نبذة نيل وفرات:The second meeting of the Mediterranean Development Forum-known more simply as MDF2-brought over 500 people to Marrakech, Morocco, from September 3-6 1998, to help set the development agenda within the region. Senior government officials mixed with think-tank representatives, private sector leaders, academics and others from countries in the Middle ...East and North Africa (MENA). MDF is a young forum, but already has a unique impact within the region and will continue to meet every 18 months. Its first conference-MDF1, in Marrakech during May 1997- focused on the interplay of civil society, business, and government in order to boost the region's competitiveness.
