The Shari‘ah saves humankind the afflictions of corruption and evil and grants them honor and dignity. It regulates human life and affairs, builds human relationship with Allah and defines social individual relationship and individual-society relationship.
The Islamic law prevails over the positive law in the sense that Allah made it, so it is free from defect, disorder and deficiency of manmade laws. The manmade laws can never get the precision, universality and perfection of Shari‘ah.
