About the book, Therese adds: “I have always loved books, but when bringing up my children in Dubai, I found there was a gap in the market for books that I could read to my children about Dubai, a book I could gift children who were leaving Dubai, a book I could read to the children I was teaching about the place in which they were living. It was my dream to write a book that could function on several levels -aimed at young children by focusing on the narrative, at older children by focusing on rhyme, at teaching about Dubai’s infrastructure, history, demography, among others.
