إنها محاولة لإعادة إحياء هذه الروح الفكرية، على أمل أن تكون قد أثمرت جديداً في حقل العلم والمعرفة.
The objective of this book revolves around the enlightenment philosophical method initiated and provided by Shihab al-Din Sahrawardi in the 6th century. His method still influences the contemporary philosophical movement, accordingly our research here focus on the following.
To begin with, the issue of how the illuminationist philosophy perceived God, the universe and human being will be highlighted. Then what were the pillars of knowledge which sahrawardi’s theological enlightenment built on.
Followed by the issue of what were the new Sufi philosophical theories which he created particularly the theoris which concern the essence of knowledge, light, material and Saul.
Finally we shall shed some lights on what Sahrawardi achieved of his objectives.
