It manual represents a different approach from the many transalation books currently available on the market. It covers a wide range of topics, politics, crime, war, business, weather forecast, ...etc.
The book starts with an exposition of the formal and content schema specific to the genre under discussion. Some selected texts are translated and accompanied by commentaries on several aspects of the given translation explaining why certain (lexical) items choices and decisions are preferred to others.
