Current practices and staff's mixed perceptions and reactions demonstrate the mediocre level of motivation, reward, recognition, and improved efficiency. This toolkit was developed with the following in mind:1- The main goal is to provide readers with a set of instruments, or tools, that will be useful both in thinking about staff incentive schemes and in designing them. 2- Staff incentive schemes must be adapted and tailored of the specific situation prevailing in each Group, unit, or team of The Bank There is no single scheme (or set of shemes) that can serve as a ''one size fits all'' solution.
