Definitions are numbered in order to distinguish senses, and abbreviations are used to indicate use in specific technical, scientific, or commercial fields (see Abbreviations used in the Dictionary). An additional feature is the inclusionn of idiomatic expressions and phrases, so necessary for the understanding and use of the foreign language.
