The student's book contains a set of eight thematic units (blended from the ...list of themes required in the curriculum for the sociology and economics section), each consisting of two lessons that consistently cover the above language skills. Each lesson verges on one aspect of the unit theme, in which the students go through a reading text and then engage in oral discussions- either in pairs or in groups- to practice and refine their oral communication skills and fluency skills. Within the context of each lesson, relevant reading, vocabulary, structure, and writing skills and activities, besides test-taking strategies are then incorporated- the last being particular vital not only for class activities but also for baccalaureate exam purposes.
