نبذة الناشر:The first and only comparative analysis of Hannibal Barka, Antoun Saadeh, and Hassan ‎Nasrallah, three leaders separated by centuries but united by vision, defiance, and destiny. This ‎Book offers a historical examination of leadership and the enduring ethos of sacrifice for the ‎sake of values and principles. Embark on a ...historical exploration of leadership, focusing on the enduring ethos of sacrifice for ‎values and principles. Leadership, as a social construct, is intrinsically tied to the interplay ‎between individual agency and institutional frameworks. Throughout history, certain leaders have emerged as paragons of integrity, whose actions ‎aligned unerringly with their principles. Yet, paradoxically, many of these figures faced defeat, ‎whether on the battlefield, within their movements, or in the broader societal context. Despite ‎their apparent failures, these leaders’ legacies persist, shaping narratives, ideologies, and ‎structures far beyond their temporal domains. This duality, defeat juxtaposed with enduring ‎influence, invites a deeper interrogation into the nature of leadership itself. Was their downfall ‎the result of strategic misjudgments, or were their fates inexorably determined by the ‎sociopolitical realities of their time? By examining historical exemplars such as Hannibal Barca, Antoun Saadeh, and Hassan ‎Nasrallah, this book seeks to unravel the complex dynamics between personal vision, ‎institutional reliance, and external pressures. It critically evaluates whether these leaders fell ‎into common strategic traps or were constrained by the immutable forces of history. ‎Ultimately, this inquiry transcends historical specificity to address a universal question: What ‎can contemporary leadership, particularly in sociopolitics, learn from these figures? By synthesizing their experiences, this study aims to offer insights into the relationship between ‎leadership, values, and institutional resilience, providing a foundation for reimagining ‎leadership paradigms in an era of increasing complexityنبذة المؤلف:Dr. Fadia Kamel Hussein is an educational researcher and expert in instructional strategies. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Sciences from Saint Joseph University and teaches Arabic Language and Literature at the secondary level and at the Lebanese International University (LIU). She is also a member of the national Arabic curriculum development committee (CRDP) and actively contributes to educational reform and teacher training initiatives across Lebanon and beyond.
