On March 23rd of 2017, which is also 2/8/1438 in The Islamic Calendar, a hack took place where The New Agency stated that Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of ...Qatar, was accused of a false statement that took place during the graduation of the military service batch of 2017.
Then it was followed by the announcement of KSA, Bahrain, UAE, and Egypt cutting diplomatic ties with Qatar and withdrew all their ambassadors from the State of Qatar.
On the 5th of May 2017, which is also 10/9/1438, the four countries declared the blockade on Qatar by land, sea, and air immediately and without any prior warning.
That resulted in a suspension of all Mecca trips for the performance of Umrah. All citizens were also returned to Qatar, and Qatar Airways has been prevented from flying over the sky of the four countries. إقرأ المزيد
