Altgough the book was written with ynderg raduate students in mind, it is also appropriate for graduate students in nurse practioner and clinical nurse specialist programs and for students in other health care disciplines.
The content has been arranged so that concepts build on one another worda are defined as content is presented. Concepts from physiology, biochemistry, and other sciences are viewed as appropriate. Selection of content was based on common health problems.
